rendering, Compositing, Lighting, & VFX
Above are the final composites for shots I composited, color-corrected, and created VFX for in our final version of the film. Color correction was a big part of our post-production process as it helped us truly see how the film was coming together towards the end. All of our lens flare VFX for shots were decided on based on my pitched idea for them to help bring depth to shots and tie our film together, and were all done by me in NukeX
Below are the final renders and composites for shots I lit and rendered. As rendering and lighting lead on Wishful Thinking, I was responsible for overseeing all shots, but this reel is a collection of what I personally contributed to the final film directly. I was also responsible for all lens flare VFX and color correction on these shots.
Rigging TD: Kalb
Character design and model created by Dani Sherwood; Rig created by Lucia Pineiro Sosa
Autodesk Maya, Renderman

Kalb was completed for my undergraduate capstone film "Wishful Thinking" as a main character and was my first quadruped rig. His global, local, skin weights and skin correctives were all completed by me, while his blend shapes were done by Kenneth Takacs and Dani Sherwood.
For this project, all rigging was completed in Maya. Kalb's notable features are an interchangeable posable Set Driven Key and Forward Kinematics system for his tail, paws, and ears, a complete global face rig, ribbon spine and neck, stretchy IK and pinnable elbows that are compatible with a global scale feature, an FK/IK tongue with a curlable ribbon around its exterior, and spring solver back legs.
