Visual FX Ideation

Houdini, Maya, & NukeX

I used Houdini to render out a rigid-body simulation for the particle pieces in the lamp break scene of Wishful Thinking. NukeX was used to composite lighting and lens flare effects over the break to give a magical feel to this powerful scene in the film. For the Proof of Concept room render, I used NukeX to create a particle simulation that interacts with light rays and rendered out our first ideation using Renderman and Maya before adding the magical elements in Nuke.

Dark Aviary: Documentation

Google Suite

As animation lead for the project for over 7 months, I re-designed the documentation and structure of the team several times to achieve maximum clarity, best communication, and efficiency. I kept track of not only the handmade Google sheets documentation, but also the ClickUp and Discord portion of communication and track management as well. In addition to all this, I also put my rigging and animation experience to use when it came to creating guides using Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat PDF to allow us to have an efficient and consistent way to train all our animators and modelers in similar ways to ensure cohesiveness within the project.
